  • What are the festival hours?
    The Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival begins on Friday, October 18 from 4:30 pm - 10 pm and continues onto Saturday, October 19 from 11:30 am - 10 pm.
  • Do I need a ticket to attend Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival?
    Yes, day tickets are available in advance as well as for purchase at the gate. We also offer a special weekend pass that's available for purchase until 4:00 pm on Friday, October 18 (not available at the gate). Kids 12 and under are free with paid adult. Please visit our ticket page for more information and to purchase your tickets.
  • What time are the performers on stage?
    The 2024 lineup schedule will be posted closer to the event on the Music Lineup Page.
  • What type of seating is available?
    So that everyone can have a clear view of the stage, only blankets, and grass seating will be permitted in the "blanket only" seating area directly in front of the stage. Standard lawn chairs may be used in the rest of the viewing area. No item may be left in the park overnight. Lawn chairs are available for rental for $3 per day per chair during the festival.

  • Can I leave my belongings in the Historical Park overnight?
    Due to public safety, no items may be left in the Historical Park overnight. Thank you for your cooperation. Items left overnight will be moved to the edge of the event grounds by event staff.
  • I'm taking a ride share (Uber, Lyft) to the event. What's the address?"
    Use 12400 Ford Road as the address to be dropped off at.
  • Bringing an instrument for jammin' at BBF and need assistance carrying it?
    Be sure and catch a golf cart ride from the ADA parking area at 12300 Ford Road. The cart will take you to the festival entrance.
  • Can I rent a lawn chair at the park?
    Yes, chairs can be rented for $3 per day per chair during the Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival.
  • Where is parking located?
    Parking is FREE and will be located at 12300 Ford Road, Farmers Branch, TX. It is .25 miles from the festival grounds.
  • Is ADA parking available?
    Yes, it is available at Metro Business Square at 12300 Ford Road, where marked spots are available.
  • Do you have a map or directions on how to get to the park?

  • Are there any room blocks or discounts at hotels?
    Check our Accommodations page to view discounted room rates.
  • I'm staying at one of the host hotels. Do I need tickets?
    If you reserve a two-night stay with one of our host hotels, you will receive two complimentary weekend passes to the festival, handed out upon check-in to the hotel. If you reserve a single-night stay (either Friday or Saturday night) with one of our host hotels, you will receive two, complimentary one-day passes to the festival, redeemable the day of your choice, handed out upon check-in to the hotel. If there are more than two guests under your reservation, additional tickets can be purchased here.
  • Can I have an umbrella?
    Small, beach style umbrellas are permitted in the viewing area as long as they are no closer to the stage than the sound tent. Please be considerate. Umbrellas that block the view for other patrons are not permitted. Umbrellas must be taken down when your seating area becomes shaded.
  • Is exit and re-entry allowed?
    Ticket holders are allowed to exit and re-enter the festival each day by obtaining a hand stamp at the gateway. Re-entry is only valid for day of ticket purchase and designated hand stamp is required.
  • Tell me more about RV accommodations.
    Free dry camping is available for RV campers in the parking lot at 11800 Ford Road, Farmers Branch, TX 75234. It is .4 miles from the festival grounds. No hook ups are available, and it is first-come, first-serve. Please note that this lot is only available Thursday, October 17 at 8:00am through Sunday, October 20 at 5:00pm, and space is limited. Full RV Camping Sandy Lake RV Park 1915 Sandy Lake Road Carrollton, TX 75006 Full RV camping is available just 6 miles north of the Farmers Branch Historical Park.   • Are medical services available?
    Emergency Personnel is provided by the City of Farmers Branch Fire Department and is on site to assist as needed. You can find the First Aid tent on the brick pathway. In case of an emergency, please notify a police officer or staff member right away.
  • Are pets allowed?
    No pets are allowed. Only animals that are service animals and assist people with disabilities will be permitted. The tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the person's disability. All service animals must remain on a leash or harness and may not be left unattended. Please make sure service animals are wearing all appropriate identifications and tags.
